Our services
Everything we do, in four groups. Each page says what’s included, how it’s priced and, where it matters, what waits for warmer weather.
Basements
We find where water gets in and stop it from inside, then finish the space once it’s dry and measured.

Basement waterproofing
Finding where water gets in, and interior drain tile to stop it at the floor-wall joint.

Foundation crack repair
Leaking cracks sealed from inside, in weather down to about 40°F.

Basement finishing
Framing, insulation, drywall, flooring and lighting, with the ceiling height measured first.

Egress windows
An escape window and well for a basement bedroom, measured any time and dug once the ground thaws.
Heating and cooling
Furnace and central air replacement, sized to your house, plus heating for the rooms you finish.

Furnace replacement
A new furnace sized to your house, with the permit.

Air conditioning
Central air installed or replaced, matched to your ductwork where it can be.

Basement heating and cooling
Ducts carried into a finished basement, or a zone of its own.
Exterior
Siding and gutters that keep water off the house, and decks built on footings below the frost line, in the warmer months.

Siding replacement
Vinyl or fiber cement over a new water barrier, flashed at every window and door.

Gutter replacement
Seamless gutters and downspouts that carry water away from the foundation.

Deck building
Composite decks on a pressure-treated frame, set on footings below the frost line.
Repairs and upgrades
Water damage dried out and put back, new floors, fresh paint, an electrical panel brought up to date, a garage floor coated.

Water damage and mold remediation
Drying out after a leak, mold removed and the room put back, with the source found first.

Flooring
Vinyl plank, laminate, engineered wood and tile, over a floor that’s tested and leveled first.

Painting
Walls, ceilings, trim and siding, patched, caulked and primed before the paint goes on.
Electrical panel upgrades
A panel and service upgrade from 100 to 200 amps, with the permit and ComEd arranged.
Garage floor coating
Epoxy and polyaspartic coatings, over a slab that’s tested and ground first.
Why a basement goes in order
You can’t finish a basement that lets water in: drywall and flooring hide a leak until it has done damage. And a finished basement needs heat, or it ends up the coldest room in the house. So the work goes dry, then finish, then heat. If you only need one part, that’s all we’ll price.
Questions about our services
Can one estimate cover more than one job?
Yes. If your basement needs waterproofing before it’s finished, or your gutters are part of why it’s wet, the work can go on one estimate, in the order it has to happen.
Can you do the whole basement as one job?
Yes. Waterproofing, finishing and heat can go on one estimate, in the order they have to happen, with one team managing all of it.
Do you do outside work in winter?
No. Siding, gutters and other outside work are booked for spring through fall. We can come out, measure and give you an estimate over the winter.
What don’t you do?
New houses and additions, outside waterproofing and regrading, basement bathrooms and wet bars, structural repairs, and furnace or air conditioning repairs. If your house needs one of those, we’ll tell you.
